 1) Why did you choose A Level Media Studies?

I took A level media science hoping it would open up future life opportunities and help me understand modern marketing schemes and ideologies

2) Did you take GCSE Media Studies (either here at Greenford or a different school)?

No, it wasn’t an option where I studied.

3) If you answered yes to Q2, what grade did you achieve in GCSE Media? What coursework task did you complete? What would you say your strengths and weaknesses were in GCSE Media?

4) What grade do you hope to achieve in A Level Media?

At minimum, an A, however an A* would be much appreciated. 

5) What are your current thoughts about your next steps after A Levels - university, apprenticeship, work?

I'd like to get into a prestigious university to create greater opportunities for myself later in life

6) What do you think the biggest MEDIA story of 2026 has been and why?

I think the Lindsay Clancy case, pertaining to the death of three children, is one of the biggest cases of this year and is causing a rift between genders societally.

7) What media sources do you use to find out about news and current affairs?

Friends, family and social media keep me updated on current global affairs.

8) What was the last film you watched?

The last film I watched was Spiderman: Brand New Day in theatres. It was advertised enticingly so I went and watched it

9) What is your favourite ever TV series?

My favourite ever TV series would be My Hero Academia, an animated series following the story of Izuku Midoriya on his path to become the number one hero.

10) How many hours do you spend online on an average day? Is this too little, too much or about right? Why? (If you have an iPhone you can use Screen Time to get an accurate figure of how much you use your phone).

Currently, I’m looking at 10 hours 40 minutes. I think it's about knowing my past. I've improved greatly and will continue to steadily decrease.
